PAPA COMES TO COUNTY ASKING $7,000 DURING WORK SESSION.

 PAPA's spokesman
Craig Fulton spoke on PAPA's
behalf During Tuesday's
County Commission work session.
During their work session on Monday spokes person for  PAPA Craig Fulton, who is also the Public's Work Director for the city, came and asked for funding on PAPA's behalf. This was discussed during their work session on Tuesday and the County seemed favorable in granting $7,000 to them. (slight correction on the amount quoted, it wasn't $15k as reported, it was for $7,000)

Editorial note: Is this opening the door for governmental agencies to perhaps to influence content, and a tool for propaganda? In an interview with this publication County Commissioner Bill Peach addressed those concerns. (see video clip below this page)

During the regular session of the County Commission on Tuesday....

COUNTY APPROVES OF NAVY LETTER...RON RICHARDS SPOKE IN FAVOR OF SENDING THE LETTER.

Letter to Navy regarding Pier Project on Ediz Hook---Letter to navy regarding environmental studies was approved.
(see video clip of Clallam Candidate Ron Richards (D) speek in favor of the environmental studies listed in the letter.)

Editorial Comment: This time however, he didn't identified himself as a candidate, guess someone was paying attention to my reports. I personally have no problems in environmental studies, but not when they are designed to drive away much needed employment opportunities which having the navy hear would bring.
To be fair: here is once again his opponent's comments regarding the letter last week. Maggie Roth (R) spoke in favor of the Navy's planed pier one project time laps 4:07
