BREMERTON – Residents and visitors of Kitsap County can soon enjoy fishing, wildlife viewing, and other recreational opportunities with the opening of Tahuya Lake’s first public water access area under Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) management.
The Tahuya Lake Access Area includes a hand launch for small boats such as canoes, prams, and kayaks, as well as an informational kiosk, parking for up to eight vehicles, and a vault toilet. WDFW will stock this lake with trout and has a year-round fishery for largemouth bass and bluegill.
“With few public lakes in the Bremerton area, we are thrilled to provide residents with another recreational spot to enjoy the incredible natural resources of our state,” said Matthew Blankenship, WDFW’s assistant regional wildlife program manager for the Coastal Region.
A $310,000 grant from the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program paid for the water access project. Construction and inspections are wrapping up, and the area will open to the public on Nov. 20, 2023.
The new Tahuya Lake Access Area and hand boat launch is located on the eastern shore of the lake near the junction of Gold Creek Road and Percheron Lane. WDFW acquired the parcels in 1939 and 1969 to support recreational access.
WDFW’s Coastal Region manages over 120 water access areas throughout Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, and Thurston counties.
WDFW manages more than a million acres of land and hundreds of water access areas throughout the state. By actively managing lands, restoring habitats, and preserving wild places, the Department serves as stewards for Washington’s natural places, protecting the state’s land and water for its human and wildlife.
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife works to preserve, protect and perpetuate fish, wildlife and ecosystems while providing sustainable fish and wildlife recreational and commercial opportunities.

BIBLE VERSE: Jeremiah 29:11 (New International Version)
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Weekly Bible Lesson:
Examples of Righteousness
Balak, the king of Moab, wanted Balaam to come and curse Israel (Numbers 22:5-6). God told Balaam not to go (Numbers 22:12). Balak used gifts to try and get Balaam to go even though God still did not want him to go (Numbers 22:22). Balaam, instead of cursing Israel, blessed them (Numbers 23:1-11). In this passage Balaam said, Let me die the death of the righteous, And let my last end be like his (Numbers 23:10). In the middle of this blessing we find an important lesson. For one to die the death of the righteous, he must first live the life of the righteous. This is something Balaam failed to do. If we want to die the death of the righteous, we cannot follow the example of Balaam (2 Peter 2:15).--TFTW

The REAL Reason Hamas Attacked Israel: Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin REACT | Glenn TV | Ep 310
Every once in a while, evil manifests itself in physical form, and that is what we saw this weekend in Israel in Hamas’ depraved attack. The surprise attack killed over 1,000 people and injured more than 4,000, and the count of dead and wounded is rising every day. Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the world in Hebrew: "What we will do to our enemies in the next few days will echo for generations.” As of this taping, it’s reported that Israel is preparing an imminent ground invasion in the Gaza region. Glenn warns this episode is going to be hard. He shows evil incarnate in videos and images and tells the stories for the dead, because the time of choosing is now. We cannot hide from this evil. Glenn dives into the difficult questions: How involved was Iran? What was the Biden administration’s role in enabling the massacre? How did the CIA and Mossad fail to intercept the planned attack? How should the U.S. respond? The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro joins to explain why we need to watch the horror and says the actions of Hamas are "beneath animals." Shapiro praises Biden’s decision to move U.S. aircraft carriers to the eastern Mediterranean and says he doesn’t believe we’re headed into World War III IF the West continues to do the right things to push back on Hamas and Hezbollah. BlazeTV host Dave Rubin joins to debunk the lies from the Left about Israel’s right to exist and defend her ancient homeland and calls the surprise attack “the second attempted Holocaust. Period.” Glenn adds THAT is the REAL reason for Hamas’ invasion: “This is NOT about territory. This is about killing all the Jews.”

Chapter 8: Traitor in the Fifth ranks
The Fifth Supreme leader, Kore
On the home world of the Fifth, a green planet orbiting a red dwarf star, the supreme leader named Kore of the Fifth, was in the war room of his palace with his generals. Looking over some key losses, on planets they held, their warriors kept being defeated in the fighting arenas, this gave Kore cause to worry, if key star systems began to gain freedom form their control, he knew his kingdom would fall, and hearing that the Gaia star system was experiencing rebellion, and nothing yet has been done about it, by those in command in their sectors, Kore sent a messenger to Four who had been late in sending any progress report, for all he knew the ship that Four was commanding had been destroyed, lost, or an all out occurred. He knew of the last communication they had was over several months ago, putting the ship in the Gaia star system.
