LIMBAUGH WAS SPOT ON ABOUT THE DEBATE LASTNIGHT.

Editorial Note: Yesterday on the Rush Limbaugh show, Limbaugh said that debate would show Bidden would show contempt toward Trump, and that happened. The monitor, Chris Wallace of FOX  news became Biden's nurse maid. It was Wallace who said he wanted to be invisible, he ended up front and  center of the debate.

Limbaugh also mention how the DNC press will cover it, he was right there too. Here is the transcript of yesterday's show.

The Debate Bar Couldn’t Be Lower for Biden (And I Still Think He Won’t Show)

Here is the video of the debate from CSPAN

Here are a view stories reflecting that:

Analysis: Trump needed the debate to change a race he’s losing; instead, he doubled down

Editorial note: That was just a few samples how the DNC press viewed last night's debate.

Here are a few stories from the right side media:

Here's How We Know Trump Won the First Debate--PJ MEDIA

President Trump didn’t always respond effectively or in a timely manner to Joe Biden’s false accusations. Biden’s insults and interjections were the polar opposite of presidential. Chris Wallace might as well have worn a Biden campaign button. But through all the noise of Tuesday night’s debate, complete with the usual partisan post-mortems featuring Biden supporters mostly assessing Biden as the winner of the debate and Trump supporters mostly assessing Trump as the winner, there seems to be a far better metric by which we can definitively determine last night’s winner.

Chris Wallace Just Gave The Most Embarrassing Moderator Performance In History

'Well, first of all, I guess I’m debating you, not him,' Trump said to Chris Wallace during Tuesday's 2020 presidential debate. Fact check: True.--The Federalist

Poulos unanimously reappointed to head Statewide Reentry Council.

Washington State Commerce Dept.

OLYMPIA, WA — The Washington Statewide Reentry Council unanimously reappointed Christopher Poulos to serve a second three-year term as executive director. The decision by council members came after a successful first term of notable activities and accomplishments.

“I am incredibly honored that the council had the faith in my work and our progress to reappoint me for a second three-year term,” said Poulos. “Successful reentry and community reintegration occur when internal healing and growth is met with external opportunity. We remain committed to doing everything within our power to help facilitate both.”

Since Poulos’ appointment to this position in October 2017, he has worked with council members, legislators and advocacy groups to help secure the passage of 19 council-priority bills into law.

Additionally, he built strong interagency relationships, serving multiple state and national criminal justice-related task forces and working groups. He did this while also engaging with incarcerated people, community members and stakeholder organizations across Washington to promote successful post-incarceration reintegration.

Over this upcoming three-year term, which begins on Oct. 1, Poulos and the council have focused on six major categories of work: racial equity, housing, centering community, education, employment and improving communication. Currently, the council is working with multiple coalitions on legislation aimed at ending housing discrimination against individuals with criminal records and expanding voting rights to people living in our communities while remaining on community supervision.

As a response to COVID-19, the council provided direct funding to community organizations assisting with reentry efforts and held listening sessions to better connect resource providers throughout the state. The council has urged the Washington Legislature to continue expanding funding for community organizations to offer more support to these vital programs.

Additional council priorities include supporting efforts to reform community corrections, increasing “good time,” and expanding the Department of Corrections housing voucher program.

Poulos, who was formerly incarcerated, developed his expertise on addiction and criminal justice policy through life experience long before entering government work. As a teen, he experienced homelessness and substance use disorder, eventually resulting in a drug-related conviction and a three-year federal prison sentence. Following his release, Poulos graduated cum laude from the University of Maine School of Law.

During law school, he served as president of the American Constitution Society and represented youth facing criminal charges. He also served at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy under the Obama Administration and worked with The Sentencing Project. Poulos also advised Sen. Angus King (I-Maine) on addiction and justice policy and served on several local, state and federal task forces related to criminal justice policy.

Before his executive director role for the Statewide Reentry Council, he served as executive director of Life of Purpose Treatment at the University of North Texas, where he was also an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice. Poulos has also recently served as an adjunct professor of Political Science at Seattle Central Community College and an adjunct law professor at Seattle University. Currently, his work promotes equal access to the law and seeks to end mass incarceration and the associated consequences now facing the tens of millions of people in the U.S. with criminal convictions.

The work of the Washington Statewide Reentry Council has garnered significant local and national attention since it was established in 2016, including an article about voting rights in the Harvard Law and Policy Review and stories in the Seattle Times, New York Times, NBC News and elsewhere. Poulos himself has openly shared his personal story with the Washington Post, NBC, Inside Olympia and others, and in a 2015 TED Talk.

President Trump’s Letter to America’s Governors

Letter posted on the WH webpage:

To America’s Governors,

Over the last seven months, my Administration has worked tirelessly with Governors to respond to COVID-19. Through our work together, we have built a robust COVID-19 testing ecosystem, and I am pleased to be providing additional rapid point-of-care tests to continue to enhance our Nation’s testing system.

In March, I challenged American biotechnology companies to develop a rapid, inexpensive, and accurate test. Abbott Laboratories has now delivered. My Administration recently announced the purchase of 150 million Abbott Laboratories BinaxNOWTM rapid point-of-care tests. I am especially proud these tests are being Made in America, by Americans, and for Americans. Moreover, the swabs used for this test are available because of my Administration’s use of the Defense Production Act (DPA) to invest in domestic manufacturing. This is a major development that will help save more lives by further protecting America’s most vulnerable and allowing our country to get Americans back to work and children back to school.

Last week, we began deploying BinaxNOWTM rapid point-of-care tests to our Nation’s higher-risk, vulnerable populations. This included distributing tests to those impacted by natural disasters as well as to assisted living centers, nursing homes, HBCUs, and Native American communities. We will provide you a list of previous distribution locations in your state this week. My Administration will provide continual supplies of BinaxNOWTM tests for vulnerable populations through the end of the year.

In addition, we will be deploying 100 million tests to our Nation’s Governors free of charge between now and the end of the year. The tests will begin deploying this week, and States will be responsible for distributing and administering them. We hope you will use them in ways to further open up your states by protecting vulnerable people. For example, we all want our children to be physically back in school, so we are encouraged that many States are considering prioritizing these tests to support in-person education by testing teachers, aides, and administrators, particularly those at high-risk. Tests can also be used for frontline healthcare workers, those living in households with high-risk individuals, emergency responders, and those in high-risk communities, including African American and Hispanic American communities, or in any other way your States deem to be appropriate.

The United States is leading the world in testing, and we will continue to take a whole-of-America approach that harnesses industry and innovation to ensure America continues to save as many lives as possible. My Administration will continue to collaborate with States in our battle to defeat the virus until we have complete victory.

Thank you for your partnership to serve our fellow citizens.

Sincerely,

Donald J. Trump

Inslee announces new standards for airports in Washington.

From the Governor's Medium page

Airlines and airports embrace the baseline standard and expand their efforts to protect travelers and employees.

Gov. Jay Inslee announced today that Washington is setting new requirements for commercial airports and recommendations for airlines.

This is a statewide approach to the COVID-19 pandemic to help protect the health and safety of workers, passengers and crew in the aviation sector.

“The steps we’re taking will help protect those who need to fly,” Inslee said. “This guidance isn’t just about SeaTac — these requirements apply to airports across the state — Pullman, Spokane, Tri-Cities and Everett too.”

In addition to the new baseline guidance from the state, Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines and the Port of Seattle announced additional steps to protect the health and safety of airline passengers and staff.

The news was announced Thursday in a press conference. The governor was joined by Max Tidwell, vice president of safety and security for Alaska Airlines, regional vice president Tony Gonchar of Delta Air Lines and Lance Lyttle of the Port of Seattle, which manages SeaTac Airport.

Inslee has called for a uniform national standard around air travel in his letter to HHS and DOT. Although states’ authority is more limited than the federal government’s, Washington state’s new guidance sets a baseline standard for airports throughout the state.

The new Commercial Service Airport Requirements are a statewide approach to the COVID pandemic to ensure the health and safety of employees, passengers and crewmembers working and traveling in the state’s aviation sector. This approach encompasses setting baseline requirements at each commercial passenger service airport and encourages airlines to adopt certain health screening questionnaires.

The guidance will require face coverings in the airport; signage and spacing for physical distancing; protective barriers between travelers and workers; sanitizer and disinfectant protocols; and that airport vendors and businesses follow state and county health agency requirements.

It also strongly encourages airlines to establish health screening questionnaires for passengers regarding potential COVID-19 exposure or symptoms, and to require passengers abide by face covering and physical distancing requirements in order to be issued a boarding pass.

“Most airlines are already doing these things during the passenger check-in process, and I appreciate their commitment to continuing these important practices. These steps will help protect those who fly and the people who work in airports and on planes,” Inslee said. “I am grateful to Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines and the Port of Seattle for joining me in this announcement and for sharing the additional steps they are taking to protect the health and safety of Washingtonians.”

“We are grateful for Governor Inslee’s leadership in providing continuing assurances to air passengers in Washington about the minimum standards they will encounter throughout their journey. As part of our ongoing efforts to provide layers of protection for our customers and employees, we will pilot a temperature screening process for our customers flying out of SeaTac beginning Oct. 1. Customers who have a temperature of 100.4 or higher will not be allowed to board consistent with the CDC’s fever threshold. Meanwhile, we have implemented more than 100 other measures as layers of protection from the moment you check-in for your flight to the moment you retrieve your bag at your destination known as the Delta Care Standard,” said Tony Gonchar, vice president, Delta, Seattle.

“Alaska Airlines and our 10,000+ Washington-based employees greatly appreciate Governor Inslee’s support to keep Washingtonians safe and support critical infrastructures like commercial aviation, which is vital to the well-being of our economy,” said Max Tidwell, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of safety. “COVID-19 has fundamentally changed travel and we’re adapting. Our Next-Level Care program includes more than 100 safety actions designed to protect our guests and employees. From helping guests with pre-travel COVID testing options, to piloting temperature screening programs and rolling out new touch-free travel technology, we’ve adapted to make flying safe.”

“The Port of Seattle deeply appreciates Governor Inslee’s support and these common-sense protocols to keep passengers, employees, and our community healthy and safe. At Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), guided by the leadership of our Port of Seattle Commission, since early spring we implemented and evaluated a wide range of new FlyHealthy@SEA protocols. We will continue to rely on science and partnership to maintain the health and wellbeing of our community, employee and passengers, and urge our federal leaders to help us drive a uniform, national approach to airport health and safety,” said Sea-Tac Airport managing director Lance Lyttle.

FOR MONTHS BLM TRIED TO ERASE OUR AMERICAN HISTROY... NOW THEY ARE ERASING THEIR HISTORY!

Readers, I watched the news with the rest of you, saw Marxist groups like BLM, and Antifa burn our cities, rioting in the streets, and the media calling those riots as "peaceful" protest. For months we heard from these Marxist thugs nothing but hate, and division from them. We heard these thugs tout they were trained Marxist and their goal was to overthrow our country, and turn it to a communist state! They even had their goals posted on their web page, now, suddenly BLM takes down their site, and puts up a different version. Why? Could it be because their popularity is slipping among the black community?

The following headlines pretty much illustrates, that BLM is now trying to change their image, because their polls are slipping down the sewer. But BLM as already shown their Marxist behavior, and reputation, so their white washing themselves won't work.

Press release issued 9/ 25/ 20

Washington, D.C. – This week, the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress (“Select Committee”), led by U.S. Representative Derek Kilmer (WA-06), passed its fifth and final package of recommendations to make Congress work better for the American people. The 40 new recommendations were passed unanimously by the Democrats and Republicans on the Select Committee, which has been nicknamed “the Fix Congress Committee.” The recommendations include reforms to help Congress reclaim its Article One responsibilities, improve the congressional schedule and calendar, boost congressional capacity and reform the budget and appropriations process. The final vote brings the total recommendations passed by the Select Committee to 97 this Congress.

“Through bipartisan collaboration and a commitment to reform, this committee has delivered nearly 100 recommendations to make Congress work better for the American people. Today’s recommendations will help the legislative branch reclaim its Article One responsibilities, reform the broken budget and appropriations process, and ensure the People’s House has the capacity to meet the needs of those we serve. We are grateful to our committee members and those who have championed our mission to make the legislative branch more efficient, effective, and transparent for all Americans,” said Select Committee Chair Derek Kilmer (D-WA) and Vice Chair Tom Graves (R-GA).

In a tweet, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised Rep. Kilmer and the Select Committee for continuing to “lead the way on making Congress work better #ForThePeople through bipartisan solutions to modernize the Congress.” Similarly, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer thanked the Select Committee “for the important work they are doing to make government work better for the people it serves,” and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn applauded the Select Committee for the effort “to reform Congress for the benefit of the American people.”

“Our democracy is under incredible strain. It is encouraging to see leaders from both parties working together and offering real ideas to strengthen Congress,” said Jason Grumet, President of the Bipartisan Policy Center. “The Modernization Committee’s leaders—Reps. Derek Kilmer (D-WA) and Tom Graves (R-GA)—have proven that Democrats and Republicans can work together to develop big solutions to major problems under trying circumstances. The committee was efficient, collaborative, and focused despite a much-delayed start, the impeachment of the president, and the ongoing public health and economic crises. The committee’s own resilience sets an example for the rest of Congress. If enacted, the bold proposals released today will create incentives for lawmakers to collaborate more effectively and unburden Congress from a series of well-intentioned rules that have weakened its deliberative capacity.”

“The House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress is a tremendous success and its final 40 bipartisan recommendations, should they be implemented, would in the aggregate make the House of Representatives more effective in conducting its legislative, oversight, and constituent service responsibilities,” said Daniel Schuman, Policy Director of Demand Progress. “In particular, the Modernization Committee’s recommendations that address staff retention, technology modernization, and support for the deliberative process represent a big step forward and we hope the House will put them into effect.”

“Wow! The Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress has done it again!” said Brad Fitch, President and CEO of the Congressional Management Foundation. “The latest recommendations from the Committee are the boldest and most creative set of ideas to improve the Congress in a generation. These proposals, coupled with the previous recommendations, will tangibly improve the House’s public policy process and enhance services to constituents. Most noteworthy are the Committee’s proposals to restore some of the so-called “Article One” powers - constitutional authority which resides in Congress - which have been diminished, delegated, or allowed to atrophy in recent decades. These recommendations will strengthen Congress, allow constituents to have a greater voice in government spending, and help restore the proper balance of power between the executive and legislative branches of government.”

A summary of the recommendations is outlined below. The full list of recommendations can be seen here.

Reforming the Budget and Appropriations Process:

When it comes to the annual budget and appropriations process, since Fiscal Year 2012 not a single standalone appropriations bill has been signed into law. Since 1977, Congress has only passed all 12 appropriations bills before the end of the Fiscal Year four times.  American taxpayers have been harmed by frequent government shutdowns and continuing resolutions.

Recommendation highlights:

Establishing an annual Fiscal State of the Nation, to better inform policy making and ensure taxpayers know how their dollars are being spent.

Requiring a biennial budget resolution.

Ensuring that Congress adheres to a more realistic budget timeline.

Reclaiming Article One Responsibilities:

Over the past several decades, Congress’ standing as a co-equal branch of government has softened, while the executive branch has expanded in size and scope of power. Ongoing cuts to the legislative branch hurt congressional capacity, ultimately hurting the American people if Congress is unable to execute at its best or remains overly-reliant on lobbyists.

Recommendation highlights:

Recommending the creation of a Community Focused Grant Program that harnesses the authority of Congress under Article One of the Constitution to appropriate federal dollars.

Encouraging bipartisan oversight, retreats, trainings and policymaking at the committee level, similar to the way the Select Committee has operated.

Increasing capacity for policy staff and congressional support organizations.

Enhancing Congressional Capacity:

The Select Committee talked with hundreds of congressional staff about ways to improve retention and recruitment on Capitol Hill. The average time staff stay in a position in Congress is roughly 2 years. Constant turnover hurts the institution and the people it’s designed to serve.

Recommendation highlights:

Reevaluating the Members Representational Allowance (MRA) to ensure Congress can meet current and future challenges, like the ongoing pandemic and the importance of retaining top policy staff.

Establishing a voluntary, nonbinding pay band system.

Increasing options to health insurance for congressional staff.

Improving the Congressional Schedule and Calendar:

One of the topics the Select Committee heard about the most was the need for a more predictable, modern work calendar. Committee schedules, in particular, often have conflicts, hurting attendance and eroding the ability of policy committees to solve problems collaboratively. What’s more, the Select Committee believed members should spend less time traveling and more time legislating.

Recommendation highlights:

Establishing a block calendar system for committee scheduling.

Creating a common committee calendar portal to help with scheduling and reduce conflicts.

Creating “committee activity only” work days, similar to how Congress has operated in the last few months.

THE QUESTION SHOULD BE...WILL BIDEN ACCEPT ELECTION RESULTS?

The Democrats already answered...They Won't!

A good example is from the following article from Reuters back in August...

Hillary Clinton says Joe Biden should not concede on election night. REU

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hillary Clinton has a piece of advice for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden: Whatever happens, do not concede defeat on the night of the Nov. 3 election.

Press Briefing by Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany--Text of statement---WH

MS. MCENANY:  Good afternoon, everyone.  The radicals are in control of the Democrat Party.  Make no mistake, Democrat radicals want to shatter norms and disregard precedent for the sake of the very norms and precedent they claim must be safeguarded.

They’ve proposed court packing — an egregious idea.  They’ve entertained impeachment as punishment for the President exercising his lawful Article Two, Section Two authority to appoint — nominate, rather, a justice to the Supreme Court.  They’ve advocated for the abolition of the Electoral College.  These are all the tactics that they’re using to sow chaos and discord.  Likewise, they’re endorsing a mass mail-out ballot system that will likely lead to the kind of weeklong delay New York witnessed in its recent primary.

Far-left radicals resort to tactics like this to push their extreme agenda because they cannot win on the merits; they cannot succeed based on the will of the American people.  This administration will continue to call out these tactics, while Democrats should end their petty politics and get to work.

Editorial Note: We all know the question will never be asked of Joe Biden from the DNC press they protect him! The only questions that Biden, from the DNC press are softball questions. So, you'll never hear the question: " VP Biden are you taking the advice of Hillary Clinton not to concede if you lose the election?" We already know the answer that Biden would give...NO! Mainly, the democrats has already proved they don't like to lose and admit it! Biden is already getting lawyers to contest the election results if he loses!

Senator Murray Calls On Republicans to Stand for Science, Support Bill to Stop Trump Administration’s Political Interference in COVID-19 Response.

Press release issued 9/22/20

(Washington, DC) – Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Assistant Democratic Leader and top Democrat on the Senate health committee, led Democratic Leader Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and 32 of their Senate Democratic colleagues in introducing the Science and Transparency Over Politics (STOP) Act, legislation to fight back against political interference by the Trump Administration in the work of experts and the nation’s public health agencies to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It is painfully clear that the Trump Administration won’t stop the political interference which is threatening our response to this pandemic and putting lives in jeopardy on its own, so it is up to Congress to act. We need transparency and accountability from top to bottom, and we need it now—before it is too late to prevent more costly mistakes. Now is the time for every Republican who has said they trust the experts and believe we must follow the science to prove they meant it by supporting this legislation. You cannot be for science if you’re silent about political interference in our pandemic response,” said Senator Murray.

The STOP Act would create a task force of the Pandemic Response and Accountability Committee charged with conducting a thorough investigation into any political interference with decisions made by scientific agencies of the Department of Health and Human Services in connection with the pandemic response. These reports would be released to committees of jurisdiction and could be made public so Americans and independent experts can see with full transparency whether scientists were unimpeded in their work or a product was pushed for political reasons. Additionally, the task force would have full discretion to release any information that it deems is in the public interest and may be important to public safety. The push for additional oversight of the Trump Administration comes following a barrage of alarming instances of Trump officials undermining the work of public health agencies on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, including:

-        September, 18: The New York Times reports that Secretary Azar has barred the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from signing any new rules without his approval.

-        September, 18: The New York Times and Washington Post report further on how Trump Administration political appointees tried to silence Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) experts.

-        September, 15: Politico expands on previous reporting to note that Secretary Azar overruled the head of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) when Azar moved to loosen oversight of COVID-19 testing and allow unreliable tests to flood the market.

-        September, 14: The New York Times reports that the spokesperson for the Department of Health and Human Services has promoted false conspiracy theories about the work of experts and scientists at the nation’s public health agencies.

-        September, 12: The New York Times reports that the Trump Administration pressured officials at the FDA and National Institutes of Health (NIH) to authorize convalescent plasma therapy before their review of its safety and effectiveness were complete.

-        September, 11: Politico reports that politically appointed Trump Administration officials demanded oversight of reports from CDC experts, and have worked to edit and append findings from CDC experts in its flagship scientific publication, the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

-        September, 9: Politico reports that a Trump Administration appointee was attempting to dictate talking points to NIH officials.

-        September 4: President Trump contradicts his own experts, and says a vaccine will be ready in October.

-        August, 26: CNN reports that the CDC was pressured by the Trump Administration to alter its testing guidance to be more restrictive. (this guidance has since been reversed)

-        August, 22: President Trump tweets accusing the FDA of holding back a vaccine, writing, “The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics. Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives! @SteveFDA”

The Administration’s  interference in the work of the nation’s public health agencies far precedes this most recent string of alarming examples. President Trump promoted hyrdoxychloroquine as an unproven treatment for COVID-19, and reportedly removed the head of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority for insisting this claim be scientifically vetted. Trump Administration officials also blocked and contradicted CDC guidance meant to help schools, workplaces, and communities reopen.
