ANOTHER SEE I TOLD YOU SO....CHAPMAN TOSSES HAT FOR STATE POSITION

I knew there was a reason for all the hoopla of the two leading newspaper's in town making a big deal on Mike Chapman's switching to the Democrats. It was like they were keeping the score on political affiliation namely who is currently democrats. I reported before he could be making this announcement of switching parties for a possible bid for a state position. And sure enough in today's headlines in the two local newspapers in town we have stories about Chapman making an announcement to run for  Van De Wege's seat. However, one publication make mention about Van De Wege's attention to run for the outgoing, Jim Hargrove and ignores Chapman's intentions completely. Make's me wonder what is going on there. The question will these two publications make the same hoopla if anyone runs against these two democrats? What I am pointing out is how even in the local media there is a bias toward the democrats..
Let us see how they treat any contenders out there....

State Sen. Jim Hargrove's retirement prompts campaign plans for Rep. Kevin Van De Wege and Clallam Commissioner Mike Chapman---PDN

Quoting from the article posted: "A political ripple caused by the retirement announcement of state Sen. Jim Hargrove began Monday, with two candidates announcing their election plans. State Rep. Kevin Van De Wege, in his fifth term in the Legislature, announced that he will relinquish that seat in order to run for the state Senate seat Hargrove is vacating at year's end. Minutes after Van De Wege's announcement, four-term Clallam County Commissioner Mike Chapman announced his intention to run for Van De Wege's seat."

State Representative Kevin Van De Wege To Campaign for Open 24th District State Senate Seat--PORT O CALL

* Why did the Port O Call didn't mention Chapman's announcement? Are they not one big happy liberal family the democrats, and the liberal media? Again readers everyone knows my political bias, I don't hide my moderate conservative views under a bush.
