FROM THE US DEPT. OF COMMERCE:
Entitlements Are the Elephant in the Room
Quote: " According to the Social Security Trustees, on its present course the Disability Insurance Trust Fund will be empty by 2023. The Social Security Trust Fund will be depleted by 2034, requiring 23% across-the-board cuts to promised benefits. According to the Medicare Trustees, Medicare Part A, covering hospital insurance, will have to slash payments to providers by 2028. Meanwhile, total Medicare and Medicaid expenditures will continue to rise sharply and push our deficits to new heights. "

The Economic Outlook: A Mid-Year Update
Quote: "The Commerce Department reported on Friday that real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 1.2% in the second quarter, slightly above the first quarter’s dismal pace of 0.8%. The outlook for the second half is not much better. GDP is unlikely to surpass 1.5% in 2016, which would be considerably slower than the still-moderate 2.4% growth experienced in 2014 and 2015."

With All This TPP Talk, It Is Time to Bust Myths
Quote: " To its critics, the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPP) is no mere trade agreement, crafted to level the playing field for U.S. workers, farmers and companies seeking to tap growing export markets. Rather, it is a nefarious plot to sacrifice the health and safety of U.S. citizens, overturn U.S. laws and regulations, and subvert U.S. sovereignty. What are the facts?

Peninsula Daily News headline: Fluoridation foe against advisory vote as Port Angeles City Council takes up conciliation effort today
Quote from the article posted: " But Kailin who praised other aspects of Downie's proposal in a letter to the editor in today's Peninsula Daily News said council members should rely on a November survey of city water ratepayers that showed 57 percent opposition to fluoridation."
ref. http://www.peninsuladailynews.com/article/20160801/NEWS/308019991/fluoridation-foe-against-advisory-vote-as-port-angeles-city-council
Question: Does this sound in anyway that Kalin is being unreasonable? After all even if this goes before the voters in 2017, this will nullify any need for change of government, because one, three council members will be up for election, two have stated they are not seeking reelection, and two; the vote of continuing fluoridation will be settled in a ballot measure. So, why is kalin afraid of a vote suddenly? This does not make any sense at all. I think the same amount if not more will vote against fluoridation, all this new advisory vote will force the city to comply.

The Superiority of Humans to Animals in God's Plan
God clearly says from creation that people (male and female) are superior to animals - Gen. 1:26-28; Psalm 8:4-8. Man is more valuable to God than animals - Matt. 10:29-31; 12:11,12; 6:26; 15:26. God authorized man to kill animals for food, but we are not authorized to kill people for food - Gen. 9:2,3; Luke 15:23; Gen. 18:7,8; 27:3,4. God Himself used animal skins to make clothing for Adam and Eve - Gen. 3:21. Numerous Scriptures show people owning and herding animals and using them for their own purposes and prosperity - Psalm 32:9; James 3:3,7.---Gospel Way
