SNAP SHOTS FROM BANGLADESH?.. ER MAKE THAT PLATYPUS

Readers, I took a little trip down to Platypus Marine today, which the sales and marketing assistant Brad Hale  gave me the nickel tour of the facilities here is what my camera captured...

Picture of me taken by Hale, in front of part of a fishing boat they are currently working on. Inside a building which isn't really suited for the work they are working in.

Brad Hale, who was nice enough to show me around the complex.

Platypus had to work on a component of a Trident Nuclear Submarine in mud!

The pleasure yachts, and fishing boats costing millions having to be worked on outside, instead if inside because there isn't enough space. Plus, admits in a plain of mud. The whole area should be asphalted

Some workers working on a barge have to do their work in what I call these huts which are like big tents, some buildings in the yard are more like garage size shops for the workers to work in.

Another vessel being worked in what I would call big garage like structure, which isn't really ideal for painting purposes, you can't paint cold steel I was told. The area I was shown didn't have any indoor heating.

This area is looking out from a structure that housed a Israeli navy vessel they were working on under a tarp, inside one of these out buildings.

What they need readers is another large complex like their commander building which is the big blue building which is 200’ x 160’ feet of space.

And get out of the mud soup they find themselves in....

And don't forget their restroom facilities folks...

Mens and Women facilities which weren't really up to ADA standards

Plus...the famed porta pottys

More shots of muck and mire conditions these people are being asked by the Port to lease out...

One of the main entrances to the main commander building....

The conditions these people have to use to conduct their business, trade, and work in is an embarrassment, I kept saying unbelievable while I was being shown around. If the Port wants to continue playing land lord they need to act, and less debate in fixing their land they want to lease, don't you think?
