NORTHWEST ON FIRE!

Was it the Case of Arsonist? Or was it politicians poor forest management?

By, Peter Ripley

This week were two big stories, one, was Trump being nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, and the wildfires on the west coast. I was waiting to see if any stories would be published on the causes of these fires, here in Washington State, and the rest of the west coast. Sure enough, some stories were published on possible intentional fires have been set. like for example:

Fresno man arrested in connection to wildfire burning near Big Sur.---Your Central Valley, from Ca.

Woman accused of intentionally starting fires on Highway 101 arrested---KION TV.

Officials squash rumors of far right, far left setting fires---Q13 FOX

Rumors of blazes started by antifa spreading as fast as fires---SPOKESMAN REVIEW

Editorial Comment: Some of these fires might have been started intentionally, but part of the blame could be on the politicians in these Democratic States, not allowing these forest of dead trees, and brushed, to be cut down! Why!? Because they are concerned more about environmental issues, then clearing and cutting down dead trees, and clearing brush that act as fuel to a fire! They, the politicians, won't allow proper forest management.

Here is an article from the Federalist for you to consider: Don’t Blame Climate Change For Raging Wildfires, Blame Bad Management

Despite common sense, the historic record, and scientific evidence, leftist environmentalists would fight and protest for a utopia we will never see, all while the world burns.

President Donald J. Trump Has Secured a Historic Deal Between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to Advance Peace and Prosperity In the Region

FOREIGN POLICY Issued on: August 13, 2020---White House fact sheet as posted.

SECURING A HISTORIC AGREEMENT: President Donald J. Trump has secured the first agreement to normalize relations between Israel and a major Arab country in decades.

President Donald J. Trump has brokered an agreement to normalize relations between the United Arab Emirates and Israel – the first such agreement between Israel and a major Arab country since 1994.

The countries have committed to the exchange of embassies and ambassadors, and to begin cooperation in a broad range of fields including education, healthcare, trade, and security.

This historic breakthrough is the most significant step toward peace in the Middle East in over 25 years.

The United Arab Emirates is the first major Arab state to recognize Israel since the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty was signed on October 26, 1994.

SHAPING PEACE THROUGH BOLD LEADERSHIP: President Trump recognized it was time for a new approach to achieve peace, security, and opportunity for the people of the Middle East.

This historic breakthrough was made possible by President Trump’s leadership and expertise as a dealmaker.

The President built trust with our regional allies and reoriented their strategic calculus by identifying shared interests and common opportunities, moving them away from perpetuating old conflicts.

This deal provides a foundation for further advances toward regional peace in the future.

The United States believes that more Arab and Muslim countries will follow the United Arab Emirates’ lead and normalize relations with Israel.

BUILDING A MORE PEACEFUL AND PROSPEROUS REGION: This agreement will help put the region on a truly transformative path: one with stability, security, and opportunity.

This agreement is a major breakthrough for Muslims throughout the world who wish to come in peace to pray at the Al Aqsa Mosque, as they will now be able to fly to Tel Aviv through Abu Dhabi to do so and will be welcomed.

By encouraging more visits, it will help counter the extremists who use the false narrative that the Al Aqsa Mosque is under attack and that Muslims cannot pray at this holy site.

Expanded business and financial ties between these two thriving economies will also accelerate growth and economic opportunity across the Middle East.

This agreement will allow further advancement of the President’s vision for finding a comprehensive, fair, realistic, and lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians and in the region.

Statement by the Press Secretary Regarding President Donald J. Trump’s Nomination for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize---White House press release

Today, President Donald J. Trump was nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize for his leadership in brokering the Abraham Accords, bringing about the full normalization of relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and marking a major step toward a more peaceful Middle East. This historic diplomatic breakthrough between Israel and the United Arab Emirates is the most significant step toward peace in the Middle East in more than a quarter of a century.

This nomination comes amid widespread international support for the peace accords and optimism that the region finally may be turning a corner. By uniting two of America’s closest partners in the region—something many said could not be done—this agreement will create a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Middle East.

This peace deal is a testament to the bold diplomacy and vision of President Trump, and he is honored to be considered by the Nobel Committee. President Trump will host the Israeli and Emirati delegations for a signing ceremony of the Abraham Accords on September 15 at the White House.

US CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Washington State Public Option Fails to Deliver Savings to Consumers.

As a perilous test case for the nation, the state of Washington is unfortunately experiencing firsthand the harms of the public option. Despite the utopian promise envisioned by allowing consumers to choose a health insurance program run by the government rather than purchasing private insurance on their own or offered by their employer, premiums associated with this new option are even higher. This disappointing reality was recently highlighted in an article by Bloomberg, which exposed the fact that the state’s public option plan, “Cascade Care,” is a more costly health coverage option than what consumers were paying for their private coverage.
